Driveway
A quarter of a mile
The driveway I once walked
To and from my home
Where the owl stalked
In the darkness and in the light
The road remains the same
Leading to highways
Though it is only one lane
Kicking rocks as I run
Trying not to stumble
The one that walks now is my son
The gravel again begins to rumble
The driveway I once walked
To and from my home
Where the owl stalked
In the darkness and in the light
The road remains the same
Leading to highways
Though it is only one lane
Kicking rocks as I run
Trying not to stumble
The one that walks now is my son
The gravel again begins to rumble
