It will all be ok

I have no more fight to give you Even after all we have been through You see things differently from me It just took me a little longer to see That it was always about you It hurts way too much, this new view You had no more love to give me You had no more good to wish me Used me up until I was no longer myself Put my feelings on the bottom shelf I used to wonder if I never saw you once more Had I memorized your face enough to carry it in my mind I can't. The memories have seeped from my pores The tears have left me blind I forgive you for the betray The saddest thing I ever had to say Is that it will all be ok. It will all be ok.

Jesus Eyes

Jesus eyes glinting off your sin Finding all that is wrong within Judgement drips and flies From the corners of your Jesus eyes Refusal to separate fact from fiction Science screams a true depiction Yet you claim to be ever wise Smirking with those Jesus eyes From the depths to the skies Laughs and for lies Why must you aggressively demonize With side glances from your Jesus eyes Immoral! Abomination! Misdeeds! Fornication! Blasphemy. Condemn. Demoralize. All is unforgiven when it comes to Jesus eyes False peace leaks from your eyelids Brow furrows as religion forbids This persecution is not my institution Don't bless me with the lies of your Jesus eyes

Ten word Tuesday "B"

How would you like to play a silly, time wasting game with me?? I call it ten word Tuesday. Each week I will take a letter of the alphabet and compose a ten word alliteration with it. After reading it, as quickly as you can I'd like you guys to respond with your own renditions. Use whatever words instantly jump into your head. I'd love to hear what you guys have in your minds and can't wait to hear your responses!                                                                   ✨  B  ✨ Backward Brained Barney Breaks Branches Behind Beekeeper Betty's Betrayed Back

Putrid Petals

Image
The garden is a bewildering place Flowers gyrating in the breeze all day What if those blossoms could talk? What do you think they would say? Violent Violet whips in the wind "I'm far to pretty to be trimmed!" Irritated Iris gives her an elbow "You're hitting me with your petals you know!" Pitiful Petunia by the onions cries all day "No one thinks I'm pretty!" You'd hear her say Overzealous Zinnia always the cheerleader "Perk up, ladies! We live under a bird feeder!" Lusty Lily spreads her petals wide "Look inside, I have nothing to hide." Maleficent Marigold's smell is not so sweet "I can't help it! I have sweaty feet!" Rapacious Rose is like the Venus fly trap "I promise my thorns won't leave you handicapped!" Perky Peony smells the sweetest "It's simply the truth. I'm no elitist." Drugged up Daisy frets biting her lips "I need those bees

Violet

Image
💜Purples are the loveliest colors Not black, quite a bit duller Not indigo or blue But a slightly softer hue       💜Violet is her name💜 Fuchsia and Mauve try to compete Lavender and Magenta though still quite sweet On flowers or in hair There is nothing that can compare         Violet is her name💜

THERAPY

💚THERAPY💚 This therapy does not yet come from the store Obtaining it can be quite a chore A plant with a green, red, or purple nature Kept back by an out of date legislature Healing properties that can not be measured A natural gift that if desired should be treasured Acapulco Gold, Chronic, Maui Wowie, Purple Haze This grass doesn't need mowing let it grow for days Inflammation, nausea, mental unrest hit the deck Appetite, creativity, expression is the paycheck The therapist is not the-rapist The ones that keep it at bay are the true sadists

CHARMED

✨Is this a lucky charm? ✨or does it do harm? ✨Lend you an extra helping arm? ✨or make you laugh like a funny-farm? ✨Put an A on the end of karm? ✨or just make you buy the farm? ✨Can it politely disarm? ✨or is it just a loaded firearm? ✨Is it milk flowing from a dairy farm? ✨or a cowbell ringing the alarm? ✨Is it deodorant for your underarm ✨or will it lead you to a prison farm

Ludicrous Rose

What comes first The chicken or the egg The life or the death The cheese or the bread Ludicrous Rose knows The most exquisite petal you'll ever see One look at those curls can bring you to your knees Ludicrous Rose knows Her stem may not be too tall Yet she never acts as if she is small Ludicrous Rose knows Her leaves taking in her surroundings Personality like a growing sapling Ludicrous Rose knows Thorns that will pierce the skin Don't you dare tell her that she'll never win Ludicrous  Rose knows No bouquet is fresh enough for this little chick Stronger than us all You can never pick My preposterous Ludicrous Rose

centipede

your sorry that isn't there I don't need your ego filled with greed I won't feed you may have left your seeds but that doesn't replace your deeds at first there was no speed now I find no heed I had to bleed to be freed plead to proceed in a creed of green weeds on a steed at high-speed your misdeeds recede as healthy as flaxseed I am done too, indeed all that's left is to succeed until then I'll rewrite and reread marching with the legs of a centipede

Supposed to

The love that was supposed to leave my heart a winner Turned out to taste like a burnt turkey dinner If I had to eat that my whole life, you'd only see me grow thinner The school that was supposed to lend my education Only proved success through socialization This deviation happening throughout the nation The drugs that are supposed to make me better Like summertime wearing a sweater Insurance and Pharma the aid and abettor Drugs not supposed to be making me sicker by making me well Beating myself like a fistfight in hell Waiting for the final knockout clang of the bell The bandages that are supposed to cover the sore Instead rip flesh down to the core Blood seeps from under the door pooling on the floor The therapy that is supposed to treat my ailments verily Still illegal most contrarily Yet the greenery helps extraordinarily The life that was supposed to be dark until its demise Has lightened like the cheery smile of your blue eyes A heart once fried no

Spirit Erosions

Life is a series of explosions Spirit erosions BOOM! You are born Crying and forlorn Forced into this world Not gently but hurled KAPOW! You enter puberty Childhood reaches its entirety BANG! Where she's been

She's got to go through where she's been To get just where she is Confrontation keeps it alive The monstrosity from within Write to keep the miscreant confined Into its surroundings it will blend Holding it down till it begins to stutter It's Samuel L. Jackson like a motherfucker Still won't stop her lips from a pucker Love evolved to Evol It happens to the best of people No matter vows declared under a steeple Everything she does now is worth the risk She's got to go through where she's been To get just where she is

Fingernails

Fingernails across a chalkboard sharper than any sword Fingernails drumming on the counter painting with glitter makes them louder Fingernails brushing through my hair leading you back into my lair Fingernails running down his back following a winding track Fingernails slide on slippery glass straining to hold on as life comes to pass Fingernails scratching at the door for help I hide hopelessly in wait for me to attack myself Fingernails digging up from the dirt screaming I wasn't finished with the hurt Fingernails slicing my throat with the words that I wrote Fingernails now broken and chipped leave me bleeding and tight lipped
