Novelty

My life is a jackpot
But I don’t mean money
I’m just trying not to
Spend it all in one place

So when the novelty of me,
The convenience
Slips away and I am
Once again
Scrapped
For junk parts

The first time I taste
A change in the air
And I am done eating

I’ll just reach into my vault
Of jackpot reserves
To put myself back together again
